About VH-HMI (A1-673)

A piece of flying Australian Army Aviation History

VH-HMI is formally A1-673 that served with 161 Recce Flight in Vietnam, 11/68 - 06/69.

VH-HMI is a Bell47G-3B1 manufactured in 1968 and was delivered as A1-673 to Australian Army where it served in Vietnam in June 1969 (funny enough the year one of our Bell 47 pilots was born!)

A1-673 returned to Australia and was stored until being sold in 1985.

She has since been painstakingly restored and kept in immaculate condition and is maintained by a dedicated crew of engineers.  Capable and ready to live up to his title as the

"Most Iconic Helicopter in the World"
